Biography



Sadia Sanjida Adhora is an assistant clinical psychologist with strong academic training and extensive experience in clinical and educational settings. She provides psychological counseling, conducts mental health workshops, and contributes to the development of strategies that promote emotional well-being across diverse populations. She is empathetic, non-judgmental and open to new approaches and ideas. She is committed to providing ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based psychological care, with a strong focus on mental health awareness, prevention, and early psychological intervention. She has done her clinical placement in National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital (NIMH) as a part of her master’s program.

She worked in Psychological Health and Wellness Clinic (PHWC) as a Psychological Intern. She also served Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College as an ‘Educational Psychologist’ for more than three years. Her clinical expertise includes- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) in couple counseling, psychological first aid, and both individual and group psychotherapy. Her research interests include child, adolescent and adult mental health, youth psychosocial well-being, school- and university-based mental health interventions, psychotherapeutic outcomes of CBT, DBT, and EFT, trauma-informed care, mental health literacy, and culturally responsive psychological interventions in South Asian contexts. She is also trained in the administration and interpretation of standardized psychological assessments.

Awards & Education

She completed her BS in Psychology and MS in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dhaka. Throughout her professional training and practice, Sadia has conducted 500+ therapeutic sessions accumulating 3,000+ clinical hours across hospital, clinic, and educational environments. She has also conducted 100+ psychological workshops covering 1000+ participants. She participated and contributed in a workshop on “Preparing a Draft Guideline on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for the students at the Secondary Level” as a part of Learning Acceleration in Secondary Education (LAISE) Project arranged by Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department of Ministry of Education in Bangladesh.

Jannatul Naeem is a trainee clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and adult mental health. Trained in CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness, she has worked at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, NIMH, and the National Institute of Trauma and Orthopedic Rehabilitation, providing therapy, assessment, and care for adults with anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, and personality disorders.

Dr. Syeda Rifat Mahmud is a physician and Senior Medical Officer at the Coronary Care Unit of Popular Medical College & Hospital. With clinical experience from Dhaka Medical College and Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital, she’s currently pursuing FCPS (Part II) in Neurology, blending medical expertise with a deep interest in the emotional and neurobiological aspects of care.

A passionate advocate for compassionate healthcare, Dr. Rifat has led talks on the neurobiology of depression, anxiety, and stress. As Curator of Compassion & Clinical Insight for the Care for Caregivers initiative, she ensures the project remains rooted in empathy and evidence.

Beyond medicine, she’s a seasoned public health volunteer and the founder of a photography project exploring human connection. Her work centers on one belief: that healing begins with truly seeing the caregiver behind the care.
